Hue+ ambilight bridge gone after connecting

Hey there,

I have been using the app and right after I add my zigbee lights and connect my hue+ ambilight tv it says no bridge. While it connects after I click the link button, it even makes my lights flicker. I am currently using HA with diyhue.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, what do you see in the logs during pairing? The hue app works normal?

I have the log file in my github. It says the time zone not found in the begin, I fixed that at like 23:30 (while checking it it said that until late 12:10. Later I fixed that the port was 85 instead of 80.

thats my tv

your tv is sending something that does not work

code 400, message Bad request syntax ('{')

can you enable debug and send the log again?

in the log i see there is Entertainment mode operations from ip 192.168.178.116.

you tv have ip 192.168.178.24?

https://gist.github.com/JarlTheGamer/a59d731b6d2875c8e16d82b6b12c8acd

That should have some more, and im 99% sure the ip is 192.168.178.24. And my bridge/ha is 192.168.178.100, and 192.168.178.13 is my pc.

so my tv connects to my bridge after I click link, then it changes into: none. Its very weird

i think i found the problem.

the tv is sending http/0.9, this means the tv is using http version 0.9 and diyhue runs on http/1.1.

i will see i i can fix this.

is your tv uptodate?

My tv is on the latest software, its from 2018 so its a bit older.

hmm http/0.9 is long deprecated(http/0.9 was released in 1991, http/1.1 was released in 1997) it would be strange if a device from 2018 is still using 30 year old tech…

i can not replicate your error, my ambilights work good(43PUS7303 from 2018 and 50PUS7354 from 2019)

any chance you live in the Netherlands?

Hmm thats weird, and yeah I do live in the netherlands.

can you send me a message on slack?

then we can discuss this further in Dutch
