Wondering if the Gradient lightstrip will show up as a Gradient lightstrip in the official Hue app, or show up a single color lightstrip?
Tried searching everywhere but couldn’t get a definite answer for the official Hue app. Would appreciate an answer!

it will show up as gradient strip.
gradient strip emulates a hue gradient strip.
we suggest to use a generic ws2812 sketch from
install.diyhue.org
for general purpose
